Domaine Weinbach is unquestionably one of the very finest wine addresses in Alsace. They make the usual range of Alsace wines with stellar examples of Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. Since the death of Theo Faller by heart attack in 1979, the domaine has been run by a trio of formidable women; Theo’s widow Colette and her two daughters Laurence and Catherine.

It was only last year that, just like her father, the winemaker Laurence died tragically young from a heart attack, at only 47 years old. Now Colette has passed away at the age of 87, having been at the helm for over 35 years. This leaves Catherine in charge of the domaine along with her sons Théo and Eddy. We wish them the best of luck in this most difficult time.
