David Morgan 

Wine Events & Training

David has a wealth of knowledge of the Scottish Licensed Trade having spent over 30 years in sales and marketing with leading Wine and Spirit Companies.

An accredited tutor with the Wine and Spirit Education trust, he can offer courses at Intermediate and Advanced Certificate level. He also acts as Diploma Co-ordinator in Scotland for the WSET.

David runs in house wine courses for leading Hotel groups in Scotland and offers the WSET courses to hoteliers who wish to give their staff advanced knowledge. 

For the consumer he runs courses in Edinburgh and Glasgow offering a range of 4,6,and 10 week courses on various hot topic subjects. He also runs events for corporate companies, and offers his services to Charity Fund raising events. 

He tutors part time at the Glasgow College of Food Technology and the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine running wine courses both for the trade and consumer. He runs matching wine and food events at various Hotels and Restaurant in Scotland. 

David's favourite subjects are Rhône, Languedoc, Roussillon, Bordeaux and Alsace and from the New World he enjoys talking about the exciting wines from Australia and New Zealand. He enjoys teaching students the approach to tasting wines.
