It’s a well-known fact that it’s not easy to make anything more than a comfortable living if you make wine. The idea of owning a vineyard, growing grapes, fermenting them into something utterly delicious and selling them all around the world sounds perfect. Idyllic. But, and it’s a big one, we shouldn’t forget the weather, the paperwork, the costs, the extra costs, the extraneous costs not to mention the unsophisticated palate of anyone who doesn’t like your wine.
