 Kevin
joined the Irish Wine trade in 1984. With his two brothers he developed
Ecock Wines & Spirits Ltd into a successful retail and agency
distribution business. After Ecock’s was sold Kevin worked as Wine Buyer for
Woodford Bourne and then GM for Papillon Wines.
Since 2002 Kevin has worked
for himself as a freelance wine writer and a wine educator. He writes monthly
columns for both EasyFood, Irelands leading food magazine, and for
Checkout a leading industry trade journal. He has contributed
columns to many other magazines, newspapers and journals and has appeared on
national and local radio on many occasions.
Currently Kevin is exploring
Ireland’s capability as a wine blogging nation through his
www.firstpress.blogspot.com and keeping in contact with as many of his
followers as possible as an active Twitter user on www.twitter.com/firstpress .
