Lorraine teaches basic and advanced exam based wine courses both for catering colleges and hotel groups. She is chairman of a thriving wine society in Leeds, part of the Yorkshire Guild of Sommeliers. Bordeaux, Alsace and fortified wines are particular areas of interest for Richard. He is Chief Executive of the Yorkshire Guild of Sommeliers, lectures throughout the north of England, and teaches adult education classes. He is firmly committed to the enjoyment element of wine education.
