We are delighted to join  two AWE members in toasting their recent successes.

Michelle Cherutti-Kowal has been confirmed as a Master of Wine, one of just 5 new MWs announced this year. The award is the highest accolade possible in the world of wine and requires years of dedicated study. Well done to Michelle, who can now add those two very important letters, MW, after her name.

Michelle’s achievement brings the number of Masters of Wine within the AWE to 11, including the Association’s newest member, Nancy Gilchrist MW, who joined us last month.

Wink Lorch was last night announced the winner of the Drink Book category in the André Simon Annual food and drink awards for her “impeccably researched” book, Jura Wine.

Hearty congratulations to both Wink and Michelle.
