Trevor enjoys wines, and is most enthusiastic to share this enjoyment with others. He firmly believes that the pleasures of wines are enhanced by learning about them in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

He brings to his tastings and courses many years teaching experience in the field of education, and first-hand knowledge of wines, gained from travelling widely. His travels have included the winegrowing areas in Australia, California, France, Germany, Northern & Central Italy, Portugal, including Madeira, Northern Spain and South Africa.

Trevor believes that it is crucial to keep up to date with the changes and trends taking place in the wine industry. He achieves this by reading, attending seminars and trade tastings, and, during his vineyard visits, by meeting with the growers and winemakers. It is very important to Trevor, to maintain these personal contacts.

Careful preparation ensures that Trevor's presentations are special for each audience. To cater for individual interests, he encourages group interaction, and he is always willing to talk to members after tastings.
