My background is in the
Douro Region and Port wine where I worked as a Port Master blender for 20
years.
In the last 10 years, with
Sogrape, I have dealt with the Vinho Verde Region, Douro, Dão and Alentejo. I am
very comfortable in teaching on all these subjects.
I can also talk about Sherry Wines,
also part of the Sogrape portfolio and to a certain extent, wines from
Argentina, Chile and New Zealand but perhaps not as an expert (Sogrape owns wine
companies in all these countries).
