Pippa Hayward
@pippahayward"Her knowledge was extensive and so easy to absorb and her presentation tremendously down-to earth and practical (at the same time being immensely erudite -a lovely and I suspect , rare combination)." Janet Phillips
Pippa’s love affair with wine began when she had to produce a wine list for the restaurant she and her partner were about to open. Not one to take such onerous responsibilities lightly, she tackled the tasks of selection, tasting, research and writing with her customary energy. She loves sharing her passion and enthusiasm for wine in an accessible, down–to–earth way by giving her students a clear, jargon -free understanding of what has influenced the taste of the wine in their glass. Pippa particularly enjoys putting together bespoke tastings for special occasions, organising the odd wine quiz and loves any opportunity to sing Sherry’s praises. | |
