Angela Reddin AIWS
Angela’s initial interest in wine probably developed as
with many others: a general interest which soon became a passion.
Alongside lecturing she is a consultant, working with various
generic bodies and companies, freelance writer and trade judge. Angela has
travelled extensively to all the major premium wine growing regions of France,
and has visited key regions in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal,
Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Uruguay and New Zealand.
Angela has hands on experience in laboratory analysis and fruit
grading in the Barossa Valley Estates Winery, Australia and was one of the
winemaking team for the 2004 vintage at the Felton Road Winery, Central Otago,
New Zealand.
International Trade judge in wine competitions IWC, IWSC (Panel
Chair), Own Label Awards, Sommelier Wine Awards (Panel Chair) (UK) Veritas (SA).
Good wine from everywhere makes her happy. Particular interests
include the established and emerging wine styles of the New World with emphasis
on vine growing and wine making; she has a keen interest in organic and
biodynamic wines. |
