Members of AWE are invited to register for the Australia Day Tastings in January 2017.

The Australia Day Tasting, the largest trade tasting of Australian wine in Europe, returns to London, Edinburgh and Dublin in January 2017. Across the three tastings, there will be over 1000 wines, from nearly 200 different wineries and brands, presented by around eighty exhibitors.

Highlights include:

– Jim Barry Wines will be showcasing the new Jim Barry Assyrtiko 2016, Australia’s first commercial wine made from the Greek grape variety.

– Thistledown, Wine & Spirit Magazine’s Australian “winery to watch” in 2016, will be launching the Blewitt Springs Grenache 2016 whilst Bob Berton will be presenting Berton Vineyards’ new Winemakers Reserve Fiano 2016.

– Bird in Hand Winery will also be introducing their range, soon to be available through Seckford Agencies.

The Australia Day Tasting takes place in London (24 January), Edinburgh (26 January, Australia Day) and Dublin (30 January).
